More meals from Ghana

I had a great idea to take pictures of all the meals I ate in Ghana so I could document them when I got home. But I never remembered to photograph my meals until after I ate them! So, here is a collection of food pictures that my host family was kind enough to send me after I got home. Enjoy!

Light soup
Tilapia smoked fish, and goat soup (with fufu in the bottom of the bowl)
Yam, palava, tilapia, avocado
Boiled plantain (ampesi), palava sauce with tilapia and avocado
Kenkey with fish
Kenkey (behind the plate) with hot pepper, avocado, tomato, fried shrimp, and fried fish
Soaked gari
Soaked gari mixed with roasted groundnut (peanuts), sugar, and milk
Yam and palava sauce
Boiled yam (ampesi) with palava sauce
Plantains and groundnut
Roasted ripe plantains with roasted groundnut
Tilapia Stew
