Ingredients

  • 1 pound boneless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs (plain)
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 Tablespoon dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 large egg

Instructions

  • Wash hands with soap and water for 20 seconds.
  • Preheat oven to 400°F. Lightly grease/oil a baking sheet.
  • Cut chicken breasts into 1-inch pieces.
  • Wash the counter and utensils that touched the raw chicken. Wash hands with soap and water after handling raw chicken.
  • In a medium bowl, mix together the breadcrumbs, cheese, and seasonings.
  • Lightly beat egg in a shallow bowl. Dip chicken pieces into the beaten egg, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
  • Place the well-coated chicken pieces on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer.
  • Bake ifor 20 minutes, or until internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165°F.
