Instant Pot Brown Rice

  • Pressure Cooker
  • Measuring Cups
  • Liquid Measuring Cup
  • Measuring Spoons


  • 2 cups brown rice dried
  • 2 1/2 cups water
  • 1 tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 tsp. salt


  • Use the sauté setting to heat olive oil for 2-3 minutes. Add rice and stir for 30 seconds.
  • Add water and salt. Use the manual setting to cook for 24 minutes, then allow the pressure to naturally release- don’t use the quick release valve.
  • Fluff with a fork. Leftovers freeze great for later use!
